Ok so I really liked Yoga. But in talking to a friend who also involved in P90X'ing, she and her mom hated it. I'm just curious to see what all the other P90Xers thought about it....
I am that friend McCall mentions in her post. And yes, I hated it. Why, you ask? It was boing, I didn't like listening to Tony, nor looking at the pants he was wearing, and I felt like it didn't do anything for me. Go ahead, call me ignorant to the ambiance of yoga-induced bliss. McCall thinks I'm just doing it wrong. Hmph.
No, I'm just kidding. I had to really learn to like Yoga. I didn't like it the first time I tried it, but it's SO good for your body! Just stick with it and you will learn how it kicks your butt.
I have mixed opinions. I feel like its unnecessary for it to be 90 minutes long and could easily be condensed into a good 45 minutes. But I also feel like it comes at the perfect time when your muscles are sore and just need some lovin'. Blair- you may want to look into going to a local gym's yoga class and see if you like it better. At the South Davis Rec. Center, they have an incredible, tough and sweaty, yoga class on Tuesday/Thursday nights at 8pm that I think you'd love... and its only $5 a time. Call me if you ever want to go together.
I agree...the Yoga DVD could definatly be condensed. It was a little long but I still enjoyed it. I liked how it wasn't as bruttle as other Dvd's such as Ab ripper. Let's not even talk about that one! OUCH!
Yep, the 90 minutes is a bit extreme. But I really like the balancing positions. They are fun to work at. And yes, I agree with Katie... Blair you should actually go to a Yoga class.

I do feel the need to mention that I love everything else we've done thus far... as long as I turn down the volume on the TV :)

Ignorant, Blair... It's a shame.
